Note: the only supported Prusa 3D printers are the Original Prusa i3 MK3S and MK3, the Original Prusa i3 MK2.5S, MK2.5 and MK2S, and the Original Prusa MINI. Other models aren't yet available and therefore you can't use Cura to print to them.

So I finally got around to installing my MK3 to MK3S upgrade last night. I've changed the Slic3rPE printer settings to the MK3S as per the Preflight Check . I like using Cura because Tree Supports are practically magic. However, on the Prusa Download page, there's only "Cura settings for Original Prusa i3 MK3 by Prusa Research".

19 84 posts Posted May 26, 2022 · Cura profile for prusa Mk3s I have the MK3S as well as the Ultimaker S5 and I mostly use PrusaSlicer for the Prusa, but occasionally Cura. I have no clue where the so-called default Prusa MK3S profile came from (my original Cura came from our local makerspace some years ago) but it was UGLY!

Keep the print fan turned off. 4) If you need to print supports, set the gap between the layers in Z-axis to at least 0,3mm (in PrusaSlicer under Print settings - Support material - Contact Z distance). I just downloaded the Prusa Cura Package. Followed the Tutorial. Copied the Files from the 3 folders. Started Cura. Theres MK3S NOWHERE to be found!!! The tutorial on the Prusa website is TERRIBLE. There is a Folder called: "04_Cura_layerheight_profiles" and inside there are many files with the '*curaprofile' File Extension.

I have worked with Stratasys Fortus, Stratasys Dimension Elite, Makerbot, Formlabs, Objet, and I say that your humble 'bloody smart' printer is definitely better than 'professional' grade FDM style printers, and I think it is even.

Seconded. I'm thinking about buying a MK3, but I've been kind of on the fence. A good starting point in Cura would help persuade me. That and no shipping backlog.
